- Maine can move into a tie with Vermont for first place with a win at Stony Brook Wednesday.
The Black Bears handed the Seawolves one of their two league losses, a
67-61 decision on Jan. 16.
- Maine had one of its best offensive showings of the season in a win at UMBC Monday, scoring a season-best 84 points and shooting 53.3 percent from the field.
- Gerald McLemore scored 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including a 7-of-10 clip from 3-point land.
- The Black Bears' 16 overall wins and eight league victories are already the program's most since 2003-04.
- Muhammad El-Amin and Chris Martin each scored 16 points to lead Stony Brook to a win at Hartford Wednesday, its fifth straight.
- The win was Stony Brook's eighth in conference play, matching its most-ever in America East through just 10 games.
- Tommy Brenton leads America East with 9.3 rpg. Through his first 53 career games, he has collected 480 boards (9.1 rpg).
