  • The Great Danes continue to battle their way through a six-game road trip, their longest of the season, as they visit Cameron Indoor Stadium for game five.
  • Junior point guard Felicia Johnson is the only Great Dane to play and start all eight games to open the season. She leads the team in minutes (37.9 min. per game), assists (31) and steals (20), and is second in points (11.6 ppg).
  • Albany has had four different players lead them in scoring this year. Sophomores Ebone Henry and Julie Forster, and juniors Johnson and Cassandra Callaway have all done so. Henry has been the high scorer four times, including the last three games.

  • The Seawolves and Patriots meet for the first time in the programs' histories. George Mason previously defeated UMBC this season in Fairfax.
  • Senior forward Kirsten Jeter, the league's active career leader in scoring and rebounding, is creeping up the school's top-ten in each category. She is averaging 12.6 ppg and 7.3 rpg this year.
  • The Seawolves have been a second-half team this year, being outscored, 241-216 in the first half, but coming back to outscore opponents, 282-257, over the final 20 minutes of games this season.

at Boston U. 66, Massachusetts 49 - Boxscore

  • Boston University put an end to its four-game losing streak with the win.
  • Sophomore guard Mo Moran delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a team-high 20 points and dishing out a team-high seven assists.
  • Although she struggled with her shot, sophomore guard Chantell Alford put her versatility on display in the win. Alford scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists for the Terriers.


Northeastern 55, at Vermont 46 (WCAXtra) - Boxscore

  • Vermont dropped its eighth straight game to start the season, falling 55-46 to Northeastern.
  • Sophomore forward Lauren Buschmann gave the Catamounts a strong presence in the paint, scoring 10 points and grabbing a team-high 12 boards for the double-double.
  • Despite playing only 16 minutes, senior guard Tonya Young led Vermont with a team-high 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field.
