Boston University 66, Massachusetts 49- Box Score

  • Boston University put an end to its four-game losing streak with a dominant 66-49 victory over Massachusetts.
  • Sophomore guard Mo Moran delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a team-high 20 points and dishing out a team-high seven assists.
  • Although she struggled with her shot, sophomore guard Chantell Alford put her versatility on display in the win. Alford scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists for the Terriers.
  • The Terriers begin their three-game road trip with a visit to Marist on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Northeastern 55, Vermont 46- Box Score

  • Vermont dropped its eighth straight game to start the season, falling 55-46 to Northeastern.
  • Sophomore forward Lauren Buschmann gave the Catamounts a strong presence in the paint, scoring 10 points and grabbing a team-high 12 boards for the double-double.
  • Despite playing only 16 minutes, senior guard Tonya Young led Vermont with a team-high 14 points on 5-10 shooting from the field.
  • The Catamounts return to action on Sunday, Dec. 19, when they visit Kent State.
