Vermont looks for its sixth straight win when it takes on No. 18/21 BYU
in Glens Falls, N.Y. Wednesday. The game will be nationally televised on
CBS College Sports.
- Vermont shot 55.6 percent en route to its fifth straight win Saturday. The Cats rank 19th nationally in FG percentage (.495).
- Evan Fjeld had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Brian Voelkel
grabbed 10 boards and had eight assists. Fjeld leads America East in
scoring (20.9 ppg) and Voekel paces the league in rebounding (9.7 rpg).
- The Catamounts' 6-1 start is the program's best since the 1956-57 season.
Hartford at Sacred Heart, 7 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video

The Hawks continue their five-game road trip against Sacred Heart Tuesday.
- Hartford trailed Florida State by only one (30-29) at halftime Sunday, but scored only nine points after the intermission.
- Hartford won its lone home game of December against Brown Thursday. The Bears' 46 points was the fewest allowed by Hartford since a 50-38 win over NJIT in 2008.
- Senior Morgan Sabia ranks eighth (14.6 ppg) and fourth (7.0 rpg), respectively, among league leaders in the those two categories.

After a seven-day layoff, Binghamton hosts former America East member Hofstra Wednesday. The game will be televised in Southern Tier on Time Warner Cable sports.
- The Bearcats continued to struggle offensively against Canisius on Nov. 30, failing to reach the 50-point mark for the fourth time in five games. Binghamton ranks last in America East averaging 47.7 points per game.
- Senior Greer Wright scored a game-high 23 points against Canisius and ranks sixth among the league's scoring leaders, averaging 15.2 points per game.
- The 4,302 fans that attended the Canisius game were the most ever for a non-conference game at the Events Center.

The Black Bears try to snap a four-game losing skid at UMass Wednesday.
- Delaware State outscored Maine by 18 points en route to the win Monday.
- The Black Bears got 32 points from their bench, including a team-high 11 from junior Raheem Singleton and 10 from junior Murphy Burnatowski.
- Singleton ranks 15th among the league's scoring leaders (11.3 ppg) and third in assists (3.6 apg).
- Maine ranks second in America East, shooting 44.1 percent from the field.

UMBC travels to Rider Wednesday, where former three-time All-America East choice Jay Greene is the Director of Basketball Operations.
- UMBC shot just 32.4 percent while allowing the Huskies to hit 55.9 percent of their shots in suffering its seventh straight loss Friday.
- Junior Chris De La Rosa filled the stat sheet for the Retrievers, scoring 13 points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out five assists. He ranks sixth nationally with 7.0 assists per game.
- Travis King scored 14 points to lead UMBC and ranks seventh among league leaders with 14.8 ppg.

Stony Brook put an end to its three-game losing
streak with a thrilling 54-53 road victory over Holy Cross.

Freshman guard Dave Coley emerged as the hero
for the Seawolves, hitting the game-winning layup with just 1.2 seconds remaining to
earn the victory.

Stony Brook was led on the offensive end by
junior guard Danny Carter, who scored a team-high 10 points and grabbed three
rebounds in the win.

on Saturday, Dec. 11.
Monday, December 6
Yale 74, Albany 53 -- Box Score
- Albany (4-6) went cold offensively in the second half as it fell on the road at Yale, 74-53.
- Yale
outscored Albany 30-10 over the last 15:46 as they turned a one-point
game into a 21-point win. Over that span, Albany went 4-for-25 from the
field.
- Senior guard
Tim Ambrose led the Great Danes scoring 15 points. Sophomore guards
Mike Black and Logan Aronhalt scored 10 and eight points, respectively.
During Albany's three-game winning streak, the trio averaged a combined
56.7 points per game.
Delaware State 75, Maine 56 -- Box Score
- Maine (2-5)
trailed by just one point, 29-28, at the half, but could not keep pace
with Delaware State after the break as they fell at home, 75-56.
- The Black
Bears won the rebounding battle against the Hornets, 35-34. They also
shot better from the free-throw line, hitting 18-of-23 attempts compared
to a 13-of-17 performance by Delaware State. However, Maine took 13
fewer shots than Delaware State and shot just 37.0 percent from the
field while the Hornets connected at a 45.8 percent clip.
- Junior guard
Raheem Singleton topped Maine scorers with 11 points. Sophomore forward
Murphy Burnatowski added 10 points and eight rebounds.
