Florida State 60, Hartford 38- Box Score
  • After trailing by only one point at the end of the first half, Hartford struggled offensively in the final 20 minutes of its 60-38 loss to Florida State.
  • Senior guard/forward Milton Burton put together a versatile performance, scoring eight points and grabbing a team-high nine boards in the loss.
  • The Hawks delivered a strong defensive effort in the loss, limiting the Seminoles to only 37.5% shooting from the field.
  • The Hawks continue their five-game road trip with a visit to Sacred Heart on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

Saturday, December 4

Albany 88, Siena 82 (OT) - Box Score

  • Albany earned its third consecutive victory with a thrilling 88-82 (OT) win over crosstown-rival Siena at the Times Union Center.
  • The win was the Great Danes' first over their city rival since 2004 and just the second since 2001.
  • Senior guard Tim Ambrose proved to be virtually unstoppable, scoring 27 points on 9-18 shooting from the field. Ambrose also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
  • As he has done throughout the season, sophomore guard Logan Aronhalt provided the Great Danes with a huge spark on the offensive end. Aronhalt scored 24 points in the win.
  • The Great Danes close out a five-game road trip with a visit to Yale on Monday, Dec. 6.

Vermont 82, Yale 78 - Box Score

  • Vermont (6-1) scored 50 points in the second half as it held onto its lead late in the game to grab its fifth straight win.
  • The Catamounts' 6-1 start is its best since the 1956-57 season.
  • Senior forward Evan Fjeld led four Vermont players in twin figures with 18 points. He also pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked four shots. Senior guard Joey Accaoui scored 17 points off the bench while Brendan Bald and Matt Glass each added 14 points.
  • Freshman guard Brian Voelkel scored just four points, but tied Fjeld for a team-high 10 rebounds and also dished out a team-high eight assists.
  • The Catamounts will put their five-game winning streak on the line Wednesday when they face No. 21 BYU in Glens Falls, N.Y.

New Hampshire 65, Colgate 60 - Box Score

  • New Hampshire (5-2) led by as much as 16 points and never trailed as it picked up a win on the road at Colgate, 65-60. The victory was the 300th career win for UNH head coach Bill Herrion.
  • The Wildcats hit 23-of-29 free-throw attempts, including 8-of-12 in the last two minutes to hold off a late charge by the Raiders.
  • Senior center Dane DiLiegro dropped a team-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Sophomore Ferg Myrick added 17 points for the Wildcats.

Brown 62, Maine 54 - Box Score

  • Maine (2-4) had a rough day offensively as it fell at home to Brown, 62-54.
  • The Black Bears shot 21-of-58 from the field, 5-of-19 from behind the arc and 7-of-12 from the charity stripe as they could not hold onto a seven-point lead in the second half.
  • Sophomore forward Murphy Burnatowski led the Black Bears with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field. Guard Raheem Singleton added 11 points for Maine.

Columbia 73, Stony Brook 72 - Box Score

  • Stony Brook (3-4) a heartbreaker on the road as Columbia guard Noruwa Agho hit a free throw with two seconds remaining to give the Lions a 73-72 victory.
  • Stony Brook shot well from the field, hitting 49.1 percent from the field and 40 percent (8-of-20) from long range. However, the Seawolves were outrebounded by the Lions, 40-28.
  • Guard Brian Dougher and forward Danny Carter scored 13 points apiece to pace the Seawolves on the offensive end. Forward Al Rapier added 10 points while grabbing a team-high seven boards.

Bucknell 52, Boston University 49- Box Score

  • Boston University suffered another heartbreaking loss, falling 52-49 at Bucknell.
  • Junior forward Jake O'Brien led the Terriers on the offensive end, scoring a team-high 19 points and grabbing a team-high seven rebounds in the loss.
  • Freshman forward Dom Morris came off the bench to score 10 points and pull down three boards in 20 minutes of action.
  • The Terriers return home to host La Salle on Thursday, Dec. 9 at Agganis Arena.
