- The Catamounts wrap up their four-game homestand with Yale Saturday. UVM has won 27 of its last 32 games at Patrick Gym.
- UVM shot 52.5 percent and held the Big Green to a 33.9 percent clip en route to its fourth straight win Wednesday.
- Vermont, which is rated 33rd in the latest RPI by RealTimeRPI.com, is 5-1 for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
- Senior Evan Fjeld and Joey Accaoui combined to score 43 points in the win over Dartmouth.
Brown at Maine, 2 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video | Maine Radio
- Maine looks to snap a two-game losing skid when Brown visits Alfond Arena Saturday.
- The Black Bears led Quinnipiac, 39-34, at the half Monday , but shot just 25.9 percent after the break and fell for the second straight game.
- Raheem Singleton led Maine with 18 points while Terrance Mitchell contributed 16 points off the bench in his first action of the season.
- Junior Gerald McLemore is expected to return to the lineup after missing the Quinnipiac game. It was the first game his has missed as a collegian, as he'd started 63 of 64 game prior to Monday.
New Hampshire at Colgate, 2 p.m. -- New Hampshire Radio
- Head coach Bill Herrion is just one win shy of 300 for his career and can reach that milestone at Colgate Saturday.
- UNH led No. 7/9 UConn at halftime Wednesday and took the unbeaten Huskies to the wire before falling by seven Tuesday.
- Sophomore Ferg Myrick scored a team-high 19 points and had eight rebounds.
- Senior James Valladares scored a season-high 12 points on 5-7 shooting from the field.
Stony Brook at Columbia, 4 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video | Stony Brook Radio
- SBU will try to snap a two-game losing skid when it travels to Columbia Saturday. The Seawolves won last year's meeting with the Lions, 63-61.
- The Seawolves led by as many as 14 in the second half Wednesday against Lehigh, but fell to the Mountain Hawks in overtime.
- Junior Bryan Dougher scored a season-high 26 points in the loss. He ranks fourth among league leaders averaging 17.8 points per game.
- Sophomore Marcus Rouse added eight points and four assists in his first action of the season after missing the first five games due to injury.
Boston U. at Bucknell, 7 p.m. -- Live Stats
- The Terriers continue their road trip in Lewiburg, Pa. against Bucknell Saturday.
- Boston U. has won two straight against the Bison. Jake O'Brien led four Terriers in twin figures with 17 points in a 63-53 win over Bucknell last season.
- The Terriers fell for just the second time in five games as #10/11 Kentucky shot a blistering 59.3 percent from the floor en route to the win Tuesday.
- Senior forward John Holland led the Terriers with 20 points and seven rebounds. He ranks third among conference leaders averaging 18.1 points per game.
Albany at Siena, 7 p.m. (TWCS) -- Live Stats | Live Video | Albany Radio
- After starting 0-3, Albany has won three of five games including contests against Niagara and Bowling Green last weekend at the Legends Classic Detroit Subregional.
- Albany will look for its first win against crosstown-rival Siena since 2004 on Saturday.
- Sophomore Blake Metcalf hit what proved to be the winning shot on a jumper with 1:34 remaining against Bowling Green Sunday.
- Sophomore Logan Aronhalt ranks second among league leaders with 19.5 points per game. He's averaged 25.0 ppg in Albany's three wins.

- UMBC (0-6)
traveled to Hartford, Conn., where they fell to UConn, 94-61. UConn
guard Kemba Walker recorded a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds
and 10 assists.
- Junior point
guard Chris De La Rosa filled the stat sheet for the Retrievers,
scoring 13 points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out five assists.
Guard Travis King scored 14 points to lead the Retrievers.
- UMBC shot
just 32.4 percent from the field while allowing the Huskies to hit 55.9
percent of their shots, including 12-of-23 (52.2 percent) from long
range.
Thursday, December 2
Hartford 58, Brown 46 -- Box Score
- Hartford put
an end to its two-game losing streak with a 58-46 home victory against
Brown. The 46 points allowed was the program's fewest since allowing 38
in a win over NJIT on Nov. 28, 2008.
- Senior
forward Anthony Minor put together arguably the best performance of his
career, scoring a career-high 15 points, grabbing a team-high nine
boards and adding four blocks, four steals and three assists.
- Although he
struggled with his shot from the perimeter, senior forward Morgan Sabia
played a key part in the win. Sabia scored 11 points and pulled down
eight rebounds in 37 minutes.
- The Hawks begin a five-game road trip with a difficult matchup against Florida St. on Sunday, Dec. 5.
