Manhattan 68, New Hampshire 51 -- Box Score

  • New Hampshire (1-5) turned the ball over 26 times as they fell to Manhattan on the road, 68-51.
  • Manhattan shot 41.4 percent from the field as it attempted 65 field goals in the game. New Hampshire put up just 44 total field goal attempts.
  • Guard Cari Reed led the Wildcats with 13 points while forward Denise Beliveau added 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.


Harvard 85, Hartford 61 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (1-7) dropped a contest at Harvard as it was unable to snap what is now a three-game losing streak.
  • Harvard was on fire from the field, shooting 52.4 percent, hitting 33-of-63 on the night. Hartford had a slow start, shooting just 29 percent in the first half.
  • Hartford had a rough night on the glass, losing the rebounding battle, 42-25.
  • Sophomore guard Daphne Elliott led the way for the Hawks with 16 points. Forward Nikkia Smith added 10 points.

at Stony Brook 68, Fairleigh Dickinson 51 - Box Score

  • Stony Brook put together an impressive defensive performance in its 68-51 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson, limiting the Knights to just 34% shooting.
  • Sophomore guard Sam Landers provided a key boost with her shooting from the perimeter. Landers scored a team-high 14 points in 35 minutes of action.
  • Sophomore forward Gerda Gatling came off the bench to give Stony Brook a strong interior presence, scoring 10 points and pulling down nine rebounds.
