American 58, vs. Binghamton 32 (Hawk Holiday Classic)- Box Score

  • Binghamton saw its three-game winning streak come to an end with a 58-32 loss to American in the opening game of Monmouth's Hawk Holiday Classic.
  • Junior forward Viive Rebane scored six points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Bearcats in the loss.
  • Senior guard Jackie Ward and junior guard Orla O'Reilly each added seven points for Binghamton.
  • The Bearcats wrap up their participation in the Hawk Holiday Classic with a matchup against Monmouth on Friday, Dec. 31.

Kansas State 68, vs. Vermont 39 (Blue Sky Classic)- Box Score

  • Vermont was unable to overcome an early double-digit deficit, as it fell 68-39 to Kansas State in the final game of the Blue Sky Classic.
  • Sophomore center Lauren Buschmann scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in the loss.
  • Junior guard/forward Ashley Hoyt came off the bench to score 11 points for the Catamounts.
  • The Catamounts begin America East play when they host Hartford on Sunday, Jan. 2.

Wednesday, December 29
Quinnipiac 62, vs. New Hampshire 61 (Hawk Classic)

  • In its final game at the Hawk Classic, New Hampshire fell to its second consecutive heartbreaking defeat, losing 62-61 to Quinnipiac.
  • Senior center Jill McDonald dominated in the post, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the double-double.
  • The Wildcats delivered a strong defensive performance in the loss, limiting Quinnipiac to only .338 shooting from the field.
  • New Hampshire returns home to close out the non-conference portion of its schedule when it hosts Rhode Island on Saturday, Jan. 1.


Hartford 49, at Coppin State 48

  • Hartford closed out the non-conference portion of its schedule with its first road victory of the season down in Baltimore.
  • Senior guard Mary Silvia paced the Hawks on the offensive end, scoring a season-high 17 points in the win.
  • Sophomore forward Nikkia Smith poured in 11 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds in 31 minutes of action.
  • The Hawks begin the America East portion of their schedule with a visit to Vermont on Sunday, Jan. 2.


Wagner 68, vs. Vermont 40 (Blue Sky Classic)

  • Vermont opened up its participation in the Blue Sky Classic with a 68-40 loss to Wagner.
  • Sophomore forward/center Lauren Buschmann anchored the paint for the Catamounts, scoring 12 points in the loss.
  •  Freshman guard Jasmine Cooper added nine points and a team-high eight rebounds in 33 minutes of action.


At UMBC 60, Loyola 57

  • UMBC finished the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 60-57 victory over cross-town rival Loyola to move to 4-1 at the RAC this season.
  • Junior guard Michelle Kurowski led the Retrievers on the perimeter, scoring a game-high 18 points and pulling down seven rebounds in the win.
  • Junior center Tope Obajolu anchored the paint for UMBC, scoring 11 points and grabbing a team-high nine boards.
  • UMBC opens up America East play with a visit to Stony Brook on Monday, Jan. 3.


At Maine 66, Massachusetts 62

  • Sophomore guard Katelyn Vanderhoff scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Black Bears in the win. She hit all of her career-high five three-pointers in the second half to spark the team.
  • Sophomore forward Corinne Wellington gave Maine a strong post presence, scoring 10 points and pulling down a team-high nine boards.
  • The Black Bears begin the America East portion of their schedule with a visit to Boston University on Sunday, Jan. 2.
