UMBC will become the fourth America East team to face UConn this season when the two teams play Friday. UNH and Vermont both led the #7/9 Huskies at halftime of their contests.
- UMBC, which is one of just three America East teams averaging 70 points per game (70.0) scored a season-low 59 points in a loss at Penn.
- Senior Justin Fry scored a team-high 16 points in the loss. Fry is the last remaining player from UMBC's 2008 America East Championship squad.
- Chris De La Rosa had a game-high eight assists and ranks fifth nationally, averaging 7.3 per game.

Hartford put an end to its two-game losing streak
with a 58-46 home victory against Brown. The 46 points allowed was the program's fewest since allowing 38 in a win over NJIT on Nov. 28, 2008.

Senior forward Anthony Minor put together
arguably the best performance of his career, scoring a career-high 15 points, grabbing a team-high nine boards and adding four blocks, four steals and three assists.

Although he struggled with his shot from the
perimeter, senior forward Morgan Sabia played a key part in the win. Sabia
scored 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds in 37 minutes.
