- Albany, which
leads America East holding opponents to just 29.5 percent shooting from
three-point land, returns to the court at Xavier Tuesday.
- Junior Tim Ambrose hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds remaining against Colgate to seal Albany's sixth win in its last seven games Dec 22.
- The Great Danes tied a season high shooting 53.8 percent from the field at Colgate and have shot at least 50 percent in their last three games.
- Ambrose scored a game-high 19 points and is averaging 20.2 points over his last five games. He ranks second in the league averaging 17.4 points per game.

- Binghamton returns to action Tuesday at Marshall and will try to avenge last season's 69-55 loss to the Thundering Herd.
- St. Peter's jumped out to a 28-10 lead and snapped Binghamton's two-game win streak Dec 21 in front of 4,066 fans at the Events Center.
- Senior Greer Wright scored a game-high 18 points, while Moussa Camara added 15 off the bench.
- Senior Mahamoud Jabbi grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds in the loss.
- After averaging only 47.6 points through its first six games, the Bearcats are averaging 70.0 points over its last four contests.

- Hartford resumes its five-game road trip at California Tuesday in its first action in 18 days.
- The Hawks dropped their second-straight heartbreaker, losing a 13-point second-half lead at Monmouth on Dec. 11 and falling in double-overtime.
- Hartford ranks second in America East in scoring defense, holding opponents to 63.8 points per game.
- Senior Joe Zeglinski scored a career-high 31 points at Monmouth and moved into 21st on America East's all-time scoring list with 1,736 career points.

Ambrose hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds remaining to seal
the victory for the Great Danes. Ambrose scored a team-high 19 points
for Albany (7-6).
- Ambrose moved up to 12th on Albany's all-time scoring list with 1,277 career points.
- Albany shot 53.8 percent from the field in the game, including 63.6 percent on 7-of-11 shooting in the second half.
- Mike Black and Blake Metcalf each added 10 points.
Vermont 84, at Iona 79 -- Box Score
- Vermont (8-3) grabbed a 14-point lead at the break and held on in the second half to beat Iona.
- The Catamounts shot 47.4 percent (9-of-19) from behind the arc. Vermont shot 42.9 percent overall on its field goal attempts.
- The Catamounts outrebounded Iona, 48-38, including 15-10 on the offensive glass.

Accaoui led the Catamounts, scoring 23 points off the bench and shooting
5-of-9 from three-point range. Forward Evan Fjeld added 19 points and
11 boards while guard Brendan Bald scored 17 points.

- New
Hampshire (5-5) went without a field goal for a 12-minute stretch in the
first half. During that span, Central Conn. State went on a 24-3 run.
- New Hampshire commited a season-high 24 turnovers while forcing 11 miscues by the Blue Devils.

DeAndray Buckley scored a team-high 12 points and pulled down five
rebounds off the bench. Guard Tyrone Conley added 11 points for the
Wildcats.
