  • The Great Danes go for their third straight win  when its plays at Colgate Wednesday.
  • Albany shot 50 percent for the fourth time this season in a win over Mount St. Mary's Saturday.
  • After starting 0-3 and 1-5, Albany has won five of its last six games.
  • Senior Tim Ambrose (19 pts) and sophomores Logan Aronhalt (19 pts) and Mike Black (18 pts) combined for 56 of Albany's 77 points against the Mount.
  • Aronhalt leads the league with 17.9 points per game, while Ambrose ranks third with 17.3 ppg.

  • UNH returns to action at Central Conn. State Wednesday.
  • Rhode Island converted 17 UNH turnovers into 16 points en route to the win Saturday.
  • Senior Tyrone Conley scored a team-high 16 points and added four rebounds.
  • Freshman DeAndray Buckley tallied a career-high 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting off the bench.
  • New Hampshire leads America East and ranks among the nation's best in scoring defense, holding opponents to just 58.3 points per game.

  • UMBC next travels to South Bend to face #24/23 Notre Dame. Irish head coach Mike Brey won two America East titles while at Delaware and was named the league's Co-Coach of the Year in 1998.
  • UMBC dropped its 11th straight despite 20 points, 11 assists and five rebounds from junior Chris De La Rosa.
  • De La Rosa ranks eighth nationally averaging 6.8 assists per game, which also leads the league. He also ranks eighth among America East leaders in scoring (14.8 ppg).

  • The Catamounts winners in six of their last eight games, return to action Wednesday at Iona.
  • Fairfield scored 20 second-chance points en route to a win over Vermont Monday.
  • Sophomore Brendan Bald scored a career-best 16 points and senior Joey Accaoui added 14. The tandem made 6-of-9 three-point attempts.
  • Vermont leads the conference in scoring (70.6 ppg) and field goal percentage (.462).

Maine 74, at Penn State 64 -- Box Score

  • Maine put together an impressive performance in its 74-64 victory at Penn State.
  • Sophomore forward Murphy Burnatowski led the Black Bears on the offensive end of the court, scoring a team-high 20 points in the win.
  • Maine received a huge boost off the bench from senior guard Terrance Mitchell, who scored 17 points to give the Black Bears a spark in the victory.
  • This victory marks the second for an America East team over a Big 10 opponent in the past two years and the league's eighth over a "Big Six" opponent since 2008.

at Boston University 85, St. Joseph's 79 -- Box Score

  • A 27-6 second-half run helped propel Boston University to a huge 85-79 victory over St. Joseph's at Agganis Arena.
  • Junior guard Darryl Partin came off the bench to score a game-high 29 points in only 31 minutes of action to help Boston University seal the victory.
  • The Terriers received a strong performance in the paint from junior forward Jake O'Brien, who scored 11 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds in the win.
  • Boston University closes out its two-game homestand with a visit from Quinnipiac on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

St. Peter's 61, at Binghamton 56 -- Box Score

  • Binghamton saw its two-game winning streak come to an end with a 61-56 home loss to St. Peter's.
  • Senior guard Greer Wright led the Bearcats on the offensive end of the court, scoring a team-high 18 points in 36 minutes of action.
  • The Bearcats received a dominant performance in the paint from senior forward Mahamoud Jabbi, who scored five points and pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds in the loss.
  • Binghamton kicks off a three-game road trip with a visit to Marshall on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
