Fairfield 67, Vermont 59- Box Score

Vermont couldn't overcome a seven-point halftime
deficit, as it fell 67-59 at Fairfield.

Sophomore guard Brendan Bald led the Catamounts
on the offensive end of the court, scoring a career-high 16 points in the loss.

The Catamounts received a strong shooting
performance from senior guard Joey Acciouai, who scored 14 points on 6-of-10
shooting from the field.

Vermont closes out its two-game road trip with a
visit to Iona on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Sunday, December 19
Maine 78, Colgate 57 -- Box Score
- Maine (5-5) jumped out to a 17-point lead in the first 9:21 of the game as it rolled to a 78-57 win over Colgate in Orono, Maine.
- The Black Bears shot 55 percent from three-point range, hitting 11-of-20 attempts. Guards Gerald McLemore and Terrance Mitchell combined to hit 9-of-14 shots from behind the arc.
- McLemore led Maine with 15 points on the afternoon while Mitchell added 14 as five Black Bears scored in double figures.
- Maine dominated on the boards, outrebounding Colgate, 41-27, including a 17-8 advantage on the offensive glass.
No. 23/24 Notre Dame 88, Stony Brook 62 -- Box Score
- Stony Brook (4-6) could not stop a potent Notre Dame offense, losing on the road to the Irish, 88-62.
- Despite the loss, the Seawolves did a good job taking care of the ball, turning the ball over just eight times while forcing nine Notre Dame turnovers.
- Sophomore guard Marcus Rouse led the Seawolves with a season-high 15 points. Freshmen guards Anthony Jackson and Dave Coley added 12 and 11 points off the bench, respectively.
Saturday, December 18
Binghamton 69, Cornell 68- Box Score

Binghamton earned its second consecutive
thrilling win, as the Bearcats rallied for the 69-68 home victory over Cornell.

After trailing by 13 points at halftime, the
Bearcats buckled down on the defensive end, limiting the Big Red to only 25
points in the second half.

Senior forward Mahamoud Jabbi emerged as the
hero for Binghamton, hitting the game-winning shot with just 14 seconds
remaining. Jabbi scored a team-high 13 points in the win.

The Bearcats close out their two-game homestand
with a visit from St. Peter's on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
Rhode Island 64, New Hampshire 52- Box Score

New Hampshire dropped its second consecutive
game, falling 64-52 at Rhode Island.

Senior guard Tyrone Conley led the Wildcats on
the offensive end, scoring a team-high 16 points in 35 minutes of action.

The Wildcats put together a strong defensive
performance in the loss, limiting the Rams to only 35.6% shooting from the
field.

New Hampshire continues its long road trip with a
visit to Central Connecticut State on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Morgan State 75, UMBC 62- Box Score

UMBC continued its difficult start to the
2010-11 season, losing 75-62 at Morgan State.

Junior point guard Chris De La Rosa delivered a
masterful performance in the loss, scoring a team-high 20 points and dishing
out a team-high 11 assists for the double-double.

The Retrievers received a boost off the bench
from freshman forward Chase Plummer, who scored 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting.

UMBC continues the search for its first win of the
season when its travels to Notre Dame on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Albany 77, Mount Saint Mary's 57- Box Score

Albany won for the fifth time in its past six
games, knocking off Mount Saint Mary's, 73-53.

Senior guard Tim Ambrose continued his dominant
play on the perimeter, scoring a team-high 19 points and grabbing a team-high
eight boards in the win.

The Great Danes also received great performances
in the backcourt from sophomore guard Mike Black and sophomore guard Logan
Aronhalt. Black scored 18 points and dished out a team-high five assists, while
Aronhalt scored 19 points in 34 minutes of action.
