Hartford 74, Dartmouth 43- Box Score

Hartford put an end to its six-game losing
streak with a dominant 74-43 win over Dartmouth.

Senior guard Mary Silvia led Hartford on the
offensive end of the court, scoring a team-high 13 points and pulling down a
team-high seven rebounds in the win.

The Hawks put together an excellent effort on
the defensive end, limiting Dartmouth to only 36.4% shooting from the field.

Hartford begins a three-game road trip with a
visit to Hofstra on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Penn State 95, Maine 41- Box Score

Maine couldn't overcome a poor performance in
the first half, as it fell 95-41 on the road to Penn State.

Redshirt-freshman guard Amber Smith scored in
double-figures for the seventh time this season, netting a team-high 14 points
in the loss.

The Black Bears received an excellent
performance in the paint from freshman center Corinne Wellington. Wellington
scored five points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds in the loss.

Maine kicks off its participation in the Stetson
Classic with a matchup against Winthrop on Monday, Dec. 20.
Saturday, December 11
Binghamton 58, at Massachusetts 52 - Boxscore
- Binghamton won the possession battle against Massachusetts, holding the edge in rebounds, 41-36, and forcing 25 Minutewoman turnovers. The Bearcats stole the ball 16 times. Junior guards Orla O'Reilly and Andrea Holmes each had four steals.
- O'Reilly also led the Bearcats in the scoring column, dropping 16 points. Holmes also reached double figures with 12 points and added a team-high six assists.
at Marist 71, Boston U. 55 - Boxscore
- The Terriers trailed by just five at the half, 32-37. However, Marist went on an 11-0 run in the second half to blow the game open.
- Sophomore guard Chantell Alford scored a season-high 21 points to lead the Terriers. Junior guard Alex Young added 11 points.
- Junior forward Caroline Stewart led the Terriers on the boards as she grabbed 13 rebounds.
at George Washington 69, Stony Brook 49 - Boxscore
- The Seawolves had a tough shooting afternoon, hitting just .300 percent of their field-goal attempts. However, the Seawolves grabbed 16 offensive rebounds and scored 17 second-chance points.
- Destiny Jacobs led Stony Brook with 10 rebounds, five of which were on the offensive glass. The junior center also scored 14 points for the double-double. Sophomore guard Sam Landers dropped a team-high 15 points.
