For the third time in four years, Boston University team will travel across town to Boston College for its NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup first-round contest. Unlike past years however, the Terriers will face the host Eagles, who earned a No. 2 seed for the tournament, on Friday, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m.

The Terriers, who are making their sixth straight NCAA appearance, learned their fate during the NCAA selection show on ESPNU this afternoon. They are in search of their first NCAA win since 2005, when they downed UConn in the first round before falling to Boston College in round two.

Boston U. (16-5-0) earned America East's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament with a 4-0 win over Maine in the league title game on Saturday. Junior Jessica Luscinski scored twice in the game and earned the championship's Most Outstanding Player Award.

The Terriers, who are ranked 17th in the latest Soccer America Poll, have won 13 straight games all by shutout, which is tied for the second-longest streak in NCAA history. One of their five losses came at the hands of Boston College, which upended Boston U., 1-0, on Sept. 3. The Eagles, who are ranked 16th by Soccer America, went 13-6-1 in the regular season.

The winner of Friday's contest will face either Hofstra or UConn in the second round on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m.
