Hartford 60, St. Francis (Pa.) 55 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (1-3) earned its first win of the season at home against St. Francis (Pa.) despite being outrebounded by the Red Flash, 42-28.
  • The Hawks took 24 free throws, hitting 15 of those attempts, while St. Francis hit all of its nine attempts from the charity stripe.
  • Morgan Sabia led the way for Hartford, scoring 19 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Joe Zeglinski and Morgan Sabia also hit double figures in points, scoring 14 and 10 points, respectively.

 
Vermont 51, Loyola (Md.) 48 -- Box Score

  • Vermont (3-1) continued its strong start as it opened its home schedule with with a 51-48 win over Loyola (Md.).
  • Forward Evan Fjeld scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field to pace the Catamounts. Fjeld added seven rebounds on the night.
  • Matt Glass led the way for Vermont on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds. The Catamounts outrebounded Loyola as a team, 42-33.
  • The Catamounts held Loyola to just 32.3 percent shooting from the field, including 20 percent (4-of-20) from behind the arc.
