St. Peter's at Albany    5 p.m.  l Live Stats l

  • The Great Danes will look to extend their 3-0 start as they return to SEFCU Arena for the first time since the home opener on November 12.
  • Albany has a league-best scoring defense of 48.3 ppg. The team also leads America East in field goal percentage defense (.340) and blocks (4.0 bpg).
  • Sophomores Julie Forster and Ebone Henry are 1st and 2nd with 12.0 and 11.7 rpg, two of only three players to average double-figure rebounds.

  • The Terriers are trying to avoid their first two-game slide of the season, facing a Crimson team which won last year's meeting, 85-68.
  • America East teams have played more Ivy League teams than any other conference so far this year. The league is 3-2 against the Ivies.
  • Junior Alex Young leads the league so far in 2010 with 21 ppg.

  • Tonight's game kicks off a four-game home stand for the Black Bears who haven't been at Alfond Arena since the home opener on November 13.
  • This year's Black Bears squad has quick hands as they have swiped 21 steals in just two games this year to lead the conference with 10.5 steals per game.
  • Maine defeated Central Connecticut to open the season last year, 61-58.
UMBC at George Mason    7 p.m. l Live Stats l Live Video l
  • UMBC won the last meeting with the Patriots in 2008, 89-60.
  • The junior class is stepping up for the Retrievers, led by Erin Brown who has led the team in scoring in three of the first four games.
  • The Retrievers are second only to Albany with a field goal percentage defense of .341.


New Hampshire at Holy Cross    7 p.m. l Live Stats l UNH Radio l

  • The Wildcats travel to Worcester after hosting the Crusaders last year, an 80-72 UNH win.
  • Freshman guard Kelsey Hogan ranks second in America East with 4.7 assists per game, in addition to 9.7 ppg and 2.0 spg.
  • After ranking seventh last year, UNH leads the league with .451 shooting.

at Hartford 62, Sacred Heart 53 (CTSN) - Boxscore

  • Hartford picked up its first win of the season, using a stifling defense. After struggling on the defensive end during their 0-3 start, the Hawks limited Sacred Heart to 32.3% shooting as a team.
  • Sophomore guard Alex Hall played her best game of the season, scoring a team-high 18 points on 7-11 shooting from the field. Sophomore guard Daphne Elliott added 15 points to help Hartford earn the victory.
  • The Hawks begin their participation in the Caribbean Challenge with a matchup against Green Bay on Thursday, Nov. 25.

at No. 17 Texas 92, Boston U. 46 - Boxscore

  • The Terriers had a rough shooting night, hitting only 26 percent of their field goals. The Terriers shot 19-for-73 and hit only three of their 25 three-point attempts.
  • Guard Alex Young had a solid scoring afternoon. The junior led Boston U., scoring 16 points as she played all 40 minutes of the game.
  • Forward Kerry Cashman added eight points and a team-high 10 rebounds, four of which came on the offensive end.
