Boston U. at No. 17 Texas    1 p.m.

  • This is the first all-time meeting between the Terriers and the Longhorns, as well as a homecoming for senior guard Kat Briggs.
  • The Terriers will be hoping to knock off its second-ever ranked opponent. The first defeat of a ranked opponent came just last year as Boston U. upended No. 24 Vermont at Case Gym.
  • Junior Alex Young has 47 points in two games for a league-leading 23.5 ppg, while senior Kerry Cashman has 8.5 rpg, which ranks fourth in America East.

Saturday, November 20
Binghamton 66, Rider 53

  • Binghamton (2-1) won its second straight game thanks in large part to the scoring of guard Andrea Holmes. Holmes scored 19 points in 40 minutes of play to lead the Bearcats.
  • Forward Jasbriell Swain added 16 points and a team-high nine boards. Forward Viive Rebane also reached double figures in points, dropping 12.
  • The Bearcats held Rider to just 34.5 percent from the field for the game on 19-for-55 shooting. Rider made only three of its 18 three-point attempts.


Providence 75, Hartford 53

  • Hartford (0-3) was unable to earn its first victory of the season in its home opener.
  • Providence opened a 24-4 lead with 7:40 remaining in the first half. The Hawks made just six field goals in the first half, shooting just 22.2 percent from the field before the break.
  • Only one Hawk, guard Ilicia Mathis, reached double figures in scoring. Mathis scored a season-high 17 points.


St. Joseph's 64, UMBC 50

  • UMBC (1-3) shot 17.2 percent from the field in the first half, and 25.8 percent for the game, in its loss at home to St. Joseph's.
  • Defensively, the Retrievers held St. Joseph's to 38.9 percent shooting for the game while racking up 13 steals and forcing 27 turnovers.
  • UMBC was led by center Tope Obajolu, who scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds, leading the team in both categories.


Brown 66, New Hampshire 54

  • New Hampshire (1-2) could not keep the momentum from its win over Dartmouth as it fell at home to Brown, 64-54.
  • Guard Cari Reed scored 14 points to lead the Wildcat offense. Freshman guard Sarah Frankenberger added 10 points for the Wildcats.
  • New Hampshire turned the ball over 26 times, but did force 25 Brown turnovers.


Boston College 85, Vermont 50

  • Vermont (0-4) fell to Boston College in the TD Bank Women's Basketball Classic, a tournament hosted by the Catamounts.
  •  Center Lauren Buschmann scored 10 points and pulled down seven boards to lead the Catamounts in both categories. Tonya Young also grabbed seven rebounds and scored nine points in the loss.
