  • The Catamounts continue their streak of three-straight conference champion opponents to open the season. Marist was the MAAC Champion a year ago.
  • Junior Ashley Hoyt has stepped up to average 14.0 ppg in the first two games this season. Hoyt averaged less than a point per game in 2009-10.
  • Vermont is hosting the TD Bank Classic for the 15th since 1993, however, the Catamounts and the Red Foxes have not met since 1990.


Albany at Manhattan    7 p.m. l Live Stats l Live Video l Live Audio

  • Albany, which is 2-0 for the first time since opening the 1999-2000 season with two-straight wins, is looking for its third win in as many games.
  • All-rookie picks Ebone Henry and Julie Forster have not slumped early in their sophomore campaigns. Both have opened the season with two-straight double-doubles.
  • The Great Danes' defense has shut down opponents, allowing just 48.5 ppg while forcing 20 turnovers per game.


Maine at Bryant    7 p.m. l Live Stats l Live Video l Live Audio

  • The Black Bears are the final America East team to get game #2 under their belts, and they will do so as they hit the road for the first time this season.
  • This will be the first all-time meeting between Maine and Bryant, who recently made the move from DII to DI and joined the NEC.
  • Through just one game, sophomore Corinne Wellington picked up her second career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the season opener against Harvard.

  • Stony Brook couldn't overcome a six-point halftime deficit, as it fell in the game one of its five game homestand.
  • Senior guard Jodie Plikus shot the ball with great confidence from the perimeter, hitting 4-of-11 from behind the three-point line to score a team-high 14 points.
  • Sophomore guard Sam Landers came off the bench to dish out a team-high seven assists and score 11 points in 28 minutes of action.


Wednesday, November 17
at Boston U. 83, Yale 64  
 

  • Sophomore guard Mo Moran recorded the first triple-double by a Boston University player since 2004, scoring 15 points, grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds and dishing out a team-high 11 assists in the win. It was the first triple-double in America East since Vermont's Courtnay Pilypaitis on Jan. 10, 2010.
  • Senior center Kerry Cashman dominated on both ends of the court for the Terriers, scoring a career-high 18 points on 7-for-9 shooting and grabbing 10 boards for the double-double.
