Boston U 83, Yale 64- Box Score

  • Sophomore guard Mo Moran put together an outstanding individual performance to help lead Boston University to an 83-64 victory over Yale at Case Gym.
  • Moran recorded the first triple-double by a Boston University player since 2004, scoring 15 points, grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds and dishing out a team-high 11 assists in the win.
  • Senior center Kerry Cashman dominated on both ends of the court for the Terriers. Cashman scored a career-high 18 points on 7-9 shooting and grabbed 10 boards for the double-double.
  • The Terriers head out on the road for the first time this season when they face Texas on Sunday, Nov. 21.

  • The Seawolves host Long Island-foe Hofstra in their home opener. Last year's game was a 67-61 win for the Pride on Hofstra's campus.
  • Stony Brook has three upperclassmen averaging double-figure points through two games this season. Junior Destiny Jacobs leads the way with 13.0 ppg, while seniors Kirsten Jeter and Misha Horsey have 11.5 and 10.0 ppg, respectively.
  • Stony Brook has averaged a league-leading 75.0 ppg so far this season
