Dartmouth 3, Vermont 2 -- Box Score

Two late second-half goals for Dartmouth (4-4-1) vaulted the Big Green past Vermont (6-3-3, 1-0-0 America East) in Burlington, Vt., as the Catamounts fell, 3-2.

Vermont took a lead early in the match when junior forward Nick O’Neill scored his sixth goal of the season in the third minute. The goal, assisted by junior defender Yannick Lewis and sophomore defender Sean Sweeney, put the Catamounts ahead, 1-0.

Dartmouth senior midfielder Aaron Gaide knotted the game just minutes later, scoring the equalizer in the seventh minute.

Vermont was able to take a 2-1 lead into halftime, however. Lewis scored his second goal of the season in the 31st minute to push the Catamounts ahead at the break. He was assisted by Juan Peralta.

Just 47 seconds later, Dartmouth scored again, this time off a header by senior forward Andrew Olsen. Dartmouth took the lead, 3-2, and Vermont was unable to counter, losing by that score.
