Hartford 1, New Hampshire 0 -- Box Score

Hartford (4-7-0, 2-2-0 America East) scored a late first-half goal and shut down New Hampshire’s (5-3-4, 0-2-2 America East) offense to win at home, 1-0.

Hartford sophomore midfielder James Stamopoulos scored in the 45th minute to put the Hawks ahead, 1-0. The goal was assisted by senior midfielder Sam Groves. The Hawks took that lead into halftime.

The lone goal proved to be enough for the Hawks as the Hartford defense held the Wildcats to four total shots and one shot on goal. The Hawks took 12 shots, four of which were on target.

New Hampshire sophomore forward Jordan Thomas recorded the shot on goal for the Wildcats. It was saved by Hartford junior keeper Luke Citriniti.

Binghamton 1, Albany 1 (2 OT) -- Box Score

Binghamton (4-4-4, 2-0-2 America East) overcame an early deficit to draw on the road and stay unbeaten in conference play at intrastate rival Albany (4-8-1, 0-3-1 America East).

Albany took a 1-0 lead in the early in the match when senior midfielder Sander Anker took a cross from senior forward Bo Jelovac and put it in the back of the net in the fifth minute. The goal was the first of the season for Anker.

Binghamton did not back down, though. The Bearcats answered in the 40th minute when sophomore forward Adam Whitehead scored an unassisted goal to tie the match, 1-1.

The Bearcats were on the attack the entire game, attempting 23 shots with eleven shots on goal. Those totals greatly outweighed Albany’s nine shots and three shots on goal.

Great Dane goalkeeper Adrian Foncette was up to the task against the Binghamton offense. The junior made 10 saves in the match. Foncette leads America East keepers in saves.

Binghamton is now unbeaten in its last eight matches.
