Vermont (2-12-0, 1-4-0 America East) hopes to put an end to its two-game losing streak when it hosts Hartford (4-7-3, 1-1-2 America East). When these teams met last year, Hartford cruised to a 3-0 home victory.

The Catamounts will need to rebound from a difficult 7-0 loss to Boston University. Vermont couldn't find an answer for the skilled attack of Boston University, as the Catamounts trailed 3-0 after the opening 45 minutes. In the loss, sophomore goalkeeper Alyssa Kelly made seven saves to help keep the score close during the first half.

Hartford is coming off a 3-0 loss to Boston University. The loss was the first for the Hawks in conference play. The usually potent Hartford attack couldn't find its typical explosiveness after an injury to junior forward Breeanna Robinson. Junior goalkeeper Lauren Brodeur was excellent in the net, making seven saves to keep her team in the game.

The Great Danes extended their unbeaten streak to three-games with a 0-0 (2OT) tie against Binghamton. Neither team generated much offense throughout the course of the game, as both teams played excellent defense. Sophomore forward Chelsea DeVerna led Albany in attack, attempting six shots in the loss. Sophomore goalkeeper Breanna Maggio made six saves to earn her fourth shutout of the season.

Maine dropped its first home match of the season when it fell 1-0 to New Hampshire. The Bearcats continued their impressive defensive play with a 0-0 (2OT) draw against Albany. While the Binghamton defense continues to play at a high level, the offense is yet to find its rhythm.
