Wednesday, January 6
*Hartford at UMBC 5 p.m.
- Since falling to the Retrievers in the 2007 America East Championship title tilt, the Hawks have not lost to UMBC in four meetings.
- The top three rebounders in the league will be out on the court for this contest in Diana Delva, Michelle Kurowski and Erica Beverly. UMBC's Kurowski (15.8 ppg) and Hartford's Delva (14.9 ppg) also rank second and third in scoring.
- Delva leads the league in field-goal percentage (.639), which also ranks second in the country.
Albany at Brown 7 p.m.
- The Great Danes rank 31st in the nation in three-point field goal defense (26.8) and 38th in steals per game (10.9). Both marks also lead the league.
- Albany has already matched the program's best 12-game record in its Division I era with a 6-6 mark, and is trying to wrap up the non-conference slate above .500.
*New Hampshire at Stony Brook 7 p.m.
- The Wildcats won both meetings last year, including a 75-65 victory on Long Island last January.
- Stony Brook, who has struggled to score of late, will have a steep challenge going up against New Hampshire, one of the best defenses in the league who has held opponents to 60.8 ppg (3rd in AE) and a conference-low field-goal percentage of .338.
- The Seawolves are led by a trio of strong post players in junior Kirsten Jeter, senior Joia Daniels and sophomore Destiny Jacobs who together combine for 27.7 ppg and 17.4 rpg.

* Boston University 71, at Maine 65
- Despite shooting just 34.4% overall from the field, the Terriers knocked down 12-of-23 three-pointers and three players hit double-figures.
- Reigning Rookie of the Week Chantell Alford paced the Terriers with a career-high 26 points, while also snatching seven steals. Senior Aly Hinton and sophomore Alex Young knocked down 15 and 12 points, respectively.
- Maine shot a season-high 50% from the floor, including 54.2% in the first half, and five Black Bears reached the double-digit point mark.
- Sophomore Samantha Wheeler led the Black Bears with 16 points and nine rebounds, while senior Kristin Baker finished with 12 points and eight helpers.
Monday, January 4
#12/14 Nebraska 94, at Vermont 50
- Freshman Kendra Seto poured in a team-high 18 points which included a 6-for-6 effort from the charity stripe. The rookie also added six rebounds.
- Senior May Kotsopoulos added 16 points, two assists and two steals, while classmate Courtnay Pilypaitis collected a team-high seven rebounds.
at Binghamton 74, Cornell 42
- The win marked the Bearcats' first at the Events Center this season and the second victory over the last three games.
- Sophomore Viive Rebane netted 16 points on 8-for-10 field-goal shooting, and chipped in three blocks, two assists and two steals. Junior Jackie Ward matched Rebane's scoring output to go along with five assists and five rebounds. She finished the night 6-for-6 from the foul line.
