  • Sean McNally scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds and sank a pair of free throws with 1:10 remaining to give Maine its fourth win in its last five games.
  • Gerald McLemore added 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting
  • The win was America East's third over a BCS-conference program and first over an ACC school since Vermont downed the Eagles, 77-63, on Nov. 14, 2006.

at Vermont 73, UMBC 58

  • Vermont won its conference opener for the 10th time in the last 11 years and is 12-4 all-time against UMBC.
  • Marqus Blakley led four Catamounts in double figures with 17 points and added 14 rebounds and seven assists.
  • Maurice Joseph added 16 points while Evan Fjeld had 13 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
  • Robbie Jackson paced UMBC with 15 points and is averaging 15.5 points over his last four outings.
Stony Brook 84, at Boston University 75
  • Bryan Dougher scored 21 of his career-best 30 points in the second half to lead the Seawolves to their second straight win on the road in a conference opener.
  • Stony Brook shot a season-best 48.1 percent from the field and sank 12-of-20 three-point tries
  • Muhammad El-Amin added 23 points and eight rebounds, while Tommy Brenton had his second straight double-double of 15 points and 11 boards.
  • Jake O'Brien tallied a career-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting overall and 6-of-8 shooting from 3-point range.
at Binghamton 66, La Salle 61
  • The Bearcats rallied from a 15 point deficit via an 18-0 run in the second half to down Atlantic 10 foe La Salle.
  • Binghamton shot 50 percent for the game and 62.5 percent (15-for-24) in the second half.
  • Greer Wright led the way with 20 points and nine boards.
  • Pina Guillaume added 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds.
  at Santa Clara 71, New Hampshire 68
  • UNH allied from 12 points down but Santa Clara sank four free throws in the final four seconds en route to the win.
  • Tyrone Conley scored a career-high 28 points, had eight rebounds and dished out four assists.
  • Dane DiLiegro added 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting and pulled down six rebounds.
at St. Francis (Pa.) 64, Hartford 52
  • The Hawks were held to just 6-of-26 shooting from 3-point range in the loss.
  • Joe Zeglinski had a team-high 17 points, while Morgan Sabia added 12.
  • Andres Torres, who ranks third with 5.0 assists per game, will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a torn PCL.
