  • Binghamton took all three meetings from the Retrievers last season, including a 61-51 victory in the America East championship game to win its first-ever league title.
  • The Bearcats won their third straight against Vermont Sunday behind a season-high 30 points and 10 rebounds from Greer Wright. He ranks second with 19.2 ppg in six league games and is tied for fourth with 8.3 rpg.
  • Mahamoud Jabbi scored a career-best 14 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked four shots.
  • UMBC allowed Boston U. to shoot 54.9 percent from the field en route to its 10th straight loss Sunday.
  • Chris De La Rosa scored 18 points, his best output in six games, and dished out six assists.
  • Adrian Satchell grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds against Boston U. and leads conference rookies with 4.5 per game.

  • Albany has won eight of its last 10 meetings with the Hawks, who they face on TW3 Wednesday.
  • On Sunday, the Great Danes dropped their third straight to Stony Brook in a game that featured 10 ties and 13 lead changes.
  • Mike Black paced Albany with 15 points. He leads America East shooting 56.5 percent (13-of-23) from 3-point land in conference play.
  • The Hawks erased a 16-point deficit with a 19-2 run the bridged the first and second halves on Saturday, but  couldn't stop Maine, which shot 51 percent for the game.
  • Joe Zeglinski tallied a team-high 18 points on six three-pointers. He leads America East and ranks among the nation's top-five with 3.5 three-point makes per game.
  • Hartford's three league wins through seven games surpasses its two wins in all 16 AE games last season.

  • The Catamounts visiting the Wildcats, who they beat by an average of 30 points last season, in a game that will be telvised on NESN, ESPN Full Court, ESPN 360 and for free at www.AmericaEast.tv.
  • UVM shot 33.3 percent in Sunday's loss at Binghamton, the team's second straight loss and first defeat away from home since Nov. 28.
  • Maurice Joseph scored a career-high 29 points in 33 minutes off the bench.
  • Marqus Blakely had his second straight double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. He is the only player in the country to rank among his league's top-5 in scoring (2nd - 17.6 ppg), rebounding (1st - 9.3 rpg), assists (4th - 4.0 apg), steals (1st - 2.8 spg) and blocks (1st - 2.2 bpg) and is the only player to lead his team in all those categories.
  • The Wildcats return to Lundholm Gym, where they are 6-1 this season, after beating UMBC, 62-58 last Thursday to snap a 10-game road losing streak.
  • Alvin Abreu scored a game-high 22 points, eight of which came in the final 2:14 of the game.
  • UNH leads America East and ranks 28th in the nation in scoring defense, holding opponents to 61.0 points per game.

  • The first-place Black Bears shot 51.2 percent from the field and canned 12-of-18 three-point tries at Hartford Saturday en route to their fifth straight win.
  • Maine, also winners in eight of its last nine, has held opponents under 60 points in all but four of those games.
  • America East Co-Player of the Week Gerald McLemore paced Maine against Hartford with a career-high 27 points and shot 7-of-11 from deep. Terrance Mitchell scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half.
  • The Black Bears' 14 wins are already the program's most since the 2004-05 squad won 15 games.
  • The Terriers have won six straight against Maine by an average of 10.2 points per game.
  • Boston U. continued its hot shooting by netting 54.9 percent of its attempts to move to 6-2 in America East and a tie for second place at the halfway point of the season.
  • John Holland, America East's leading scorer with 19.6 ppg, recorded his third double-double of the season with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Jake O'Brien (18 points), Carlos Strong (13) and Corey Lowe (10) also scored in twin figures.
