Bearcats swept the season series with Hartford last season, including a
73-65 win in the quarterfinals of the America East Championship.
- Greer Wright led the Bearcats with 17 points and five boards in Thursday's loss to Boston U.
- Wright, who is averaging 17.6 points and 8.6 rebounds over his last four games, ranks ninth among league leaders in scoring (13.9 ppg) and 10th in rebounding (5.9).
- After ranking sixth in the league last season in turnover ratio,
Hartford has vastly improved its ball security, leading the conference
with +2.3 turnover margin and just 11.6 turnovers per game.
- Hartford was outrebounded 44-28 and fell for the first time in three games at Vermont Tuesday.
- Joe Zeglinski, reigning AE Player of the Week, led the Hawks with 20 points and is averaging 21.3 over his last three games.

- Albany has won eight of the last 10 meetings with the Black Bears,
including an 80-69 victory in the second of two meetings last season.
Tim Ambrose had a game high 27 points in that contest.Maine held UNH to 27.8 percent shooting and 13 first-half points to earn its fifth win in six games.
- Albany surrendered a 32-7 first-half run to Boston U. and suffered its fifth straight road loss.
- Mike Black was the lone Great Dane in double figures with 10 points.
- Logan Aronhalt, the AE Rookie of the Week, made his third straight start and had nine points. He is averaging 11.3 ppg since entering the starting lineup.
- Maine held UNH to 27.8 percent shooting and 13 first-half points to earn its fifth win in six games Monday.
- Sean McNally, who ranks fourth among AE leaders with 7.8 rebounds per game, scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed eight boards, including the 500th of his career.
- Terrance Mitchell added 10 points and has averaged 13.8 points off the bench over his last four games.
- Maine picked up its 11th win of the season on Monday. It's the quickest Maine has reached the 11-win mark since the 2000-01 squad won 12 games prior to Jan. 18.

- UMBC has won three-of-four against UNH, including an 81-76 victory in the two teams' last meeting at RAC Arena.
- Chauncey Gilliam scored a career-high 24 points and hit 4-of-6 3-point field goals, but UMBC dropped an 81-69 decision at Stony Brook Monday.
- He's averaging a team-high 12.4 points per game, which ranks 14th among league leaders.
- Shawn Grant, who is second among AE rookies with 8.3 points per game, scored all 11 of his points in the first half.
- The Wildcats shot just 27.8 percent and fell for the fifth time in six games Monday.
- Tyrone Conley was the lone UNH player in twin figures at Maine Monday, leading the way with 13 points.
- UNH leads America East in scoring defense, holding opponents to 61.2 points per game.
- The Wildcats posted a 65-47 win at home against UMBC last season in which Conley had 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

- The Catamounts downed Hartford Tuesday for their seventh straight win and 12th in 13 games.
- Vermont, who has won its five America East contests by an average of 15.4 ppg, is 18-3 over the last two years in conference play.
- Marqus Blakely scored a game-high 24 points and added seven rebounds Tuesday. He is the only player in the country to rank among his league's Top 5 in scoring (17.8 ppg), rebounding (9.1 rpg), assists (4.0 apg), steals (2.8 spg) and blocks (2.4 bpg) and is the only player to lead his team in all those categories.
- The Seawolves had four players in double figures and outrebounded UMBC 50-28 to improve to 4-2 in league play Monday.
- Bryan Dougher had a team-high 21 points and seven rebounds, while Muhammad El-Amin added 20.
- Dougher leads the league with 59 made 3-pointers and has canned 34 of his last 57 attempts (.596).
- Stony Brook continues to be one of strongest defensive teams in the league, leading the way in rebound margin (+3.1) and ranking third in scoring defense (63.4 opponents ppg).
