Thursday, January 21
*#24 Vermont at UMBC 12 p.m.
- The Catamounts took both meetings last season, including a 73-49 win at the RAC. Vermont is 6-2 on the road, while UMBC is 5-5 at home.
- Vermont senior guard May Kotsopoulos leads the league in scoring with 18.6 ppg and classmate Courtnay Pilypaitis ranks first in rebounding with 7.8 rpg.
- UMBC ranks second in the conference in both free-throw percentage (.701) and field-goal percentage (.400) only behind Vermont. Leading scorer Michelle Kurowski tops the team in both categories with .829 accuracy at the foul line and .428 shooting from the field.
*Hartford at Boston University 7 p.m.
- Dramatics usually ensue when these two teams meet, with the last match-up an overtime affair at Chase Arena won by the Terriers. Boston U. also won last year's game at Case Gym, 76-65.
- Both teams come into the game with the longest win streaks of the season. The Hawks have won seven straight, including five in conference play, while the Terriers have won five straight to extend its regular-season conference win streak to 25 games.
*Binghamton at Maine 7 p.m.
- In league games, three Bearcats rank in the top 10 of conference rebounders. Sophomore Viive Rebane averages 8.4 rebounds, and junior Darryll Peterson and senior Theodora Panteli each account for 6.6 rebounds per game.
- In six America East games, Maine senior Kristin Baker ranks second in the conference with 2.7 steals per game and sixth with 3.8 assists per game.
- Last year's season series went in the favor of Binghamton. The Bearcats won, 62-49, at Alfond Arena last season.

*at Stony Brook 46, Albany 37
- The Seawolves held the Great Danes to just 17 points and 23.1% field-goal shooting in the first half. The hosts also forced Albany into 19 first-stanza turnovers.
- Freshman Sam Landers led Stony Brook with 11 points on 4-for-8 shooting. It is the third time this season that the rookie has led the team in scoring.
- Albany's rookie forward Julie Forster paced the Great Danes with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Forster fueled a 15-0 Albany second-half run that fell short.
at Dartmouth 49, New Hampshire 48
- UNH senior forward Candace Williams scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the heartbreaking loss.
- Sophomore Kelley Flynn collected 13 rebounds, eight of which were on the offensive glass. She added seven points and two blocks.
- The Wildcats outrebounded the Big Green, 41-38, and finished shooting 31.6% from the floor and 70% from the foul line.
Monday, January 18
*Binghamton 80, at UMBC 63
- Binghamton senior Erica Carter scored a game-high 27 points, including the 1,000th of her career, making her the third America East player to reach that mark this season. Carter went 7-for-15 from three-point range.
- Four Retrievers finished with double-figure points, led by Katie Brooks' 13 points. UMBC's Player of the Game Chelsea Barker netted 10 points and grabbed four rebounds in 25 minutes.
*at Boston U. 73, #24 Vermont 64
- The Terriers picked up the program's first-ever win over a ranked opponent and, more importantly, extended their America East regular-season winning streak to 25 games, including 20 at home.
- The Boston U. rookie duo of Chantell Alford and Caitlynn Moran combined for 48 points, including Alford's career-high 28 points. Moran went 10-for-14 from the foul line and dished out eight helpers.
- Vermont's May Kotsopoulos scored 19 of her team-high 20 points in the first half, while three other Catamounts joined her in double-figures.
*at Hartford 76, Maine 39
- The Hawks shot 53.4% for the game and were led by senior center Diana Delva who scored a game-high 16 points on 7-for-8 field-goal shooting. Classmate Erica Beverly netted 13, and junior Mary Silvia ended up with her second straight 10+ point game.
- Senior Black Bear Kristin Baker finished with a team-high 11 points and five steals. She went 4-for-8 from the field and 2-2 from the charity stripe, from where the team shot 80% for the game.
