  • Boston University took both regular-season contests last season, but UMBC upset the Terriers in the America East quarterfinals, 79-75 in overtime, en route to its second straight title game appearance.
  • Corey Lowe earned Player of the Week honors after averaging 29.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in victories over New Hampshire and Hartford last week.
  • Lowe (31) and teammate, John Holland (32), combined for 63 points in the Terriers' win at Hartford Saturday. They are the first AE teammates to each score at least 30 points in a game since Vermont greats Taylor Coppenrath and T.J. Sorrentine accomplished the feat on Jan. 10, 2005 against Dartmouth.
  • UMBC's Chris De La Rosa scored a career-high 28 points in his team's loss to Penn last Wednesday. He has reached double-figures in seven of his last nine games and is averaging 10.1 points per game to go with a league-best 5.2 assists per contest.
  • Robbie Jackson ranks fifth in rebounding (6.8 rpg) and third in blocked shots (1.3 bpg).

  • The Bearcats, who are attracting a league-best 3,254 fans per game at the Events Center, have won their last five meetings with the Seawolves.
  • Moussa Camara, who was coming off a career-best 24 points in a win at Albany Thursday, had his second straight strong effort with 18 points in Sunday's loss to Maine.
  • Stony Brook upended UNH Sunday to improve to 11-5 overall, its best start since the 1991-92 season, and 3-0 in America East for the first time since joining the league in 2001.
  • Muhammad El-Amin led all scorers with 20 points, while Tommy Brenton had 13 points and nine boards.
  • Bryan Dougher has canned an astounding 70.8 percent (17-of-24) of his 3-point tries during his team's current four-game win streak.

  • Maine, winners in four of its last five games, downed Binghamton for the first time in its last six tries and earned its first league win.
  • The Black Bears' bench outscored the Bearcats' reserves 39-8 led by 22 points from Terrance Mitchell
  • Freshman Mike Allison added a career-best 15 points and five boards
  • Moussa Camara, who had a career-high 24 points in Thursday's win at Albany, again led the way with 18 for the Bearcats.
  • Greer Wright contributed a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds.

  • The Seawolves snapped a five-game losing streak to UNH for its fourth straight win.
