  • The Bearcats have won the last five meetings with the Black Bears.
  • Binghamton used a 26-4 first-half run to build an 11-point halftime lead and held off a late charge from the Great Danes to improve to 5-4 all-time in conference openers Thursday.
  • Moussa Camara scored a career-high 24 points and shot 7-of-12 from the field overall and 5-of-9 from three-point range.
  • The Black Bears fell for the first time in four games and just the second time in its last six contests against Vermont Thursday.
  • Maine entered conference play with its best win percentage (.615) since starting 6-3 during the 2003-04 campaign. That year the Black Bears went on to go 12-6 in America East play and reached the league championship game.

  • The Wildcats went 3-0 against the Seawolves last season, including a 76-73 win in the AE quarterfinals, and have won five straight in the series overall.
  • The Seawolves improved to 2-0 in conference play for the first time since joining the league in 2001 with a win over Hartford Thursday.
  • Bryan Dougher, the reigning America East Co-Player of the Week, scored 26 points and canned 5-of-7 three-point tries and has shot 78 percent (17-of-22) from beyond the arc during his team's three-game win streak.
  • UNH fell at home for the first time in six games Thursday against Boston U.
  • Dane DiLiegro had a monster game of 20 points and an America East season-high 16 rebounds.

  • Sunday's contest will be televised on TW3 in the Capital Region and Western Mass.
  • Albany has won five of the last six matchups with Vermont, including a 56-52 upset win in last year's conference tournament.
  • Vermont outrebounded Maine, 43-29, on the way to its fourth straigth win and ninth in its last 10 outings on Thursday.
  • Mike Black paced Albany with a career-best 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting and had four assists in Thursday's loss to Binghamton.

  • Corey Lowe and John Holland combined for 63 points to lead Boston University to its second straight league road win and third straight victory against the Hawks.
  • Lowe scored 31 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had five assists, while Holland had 32 points on 9-of-12 shooting and nine boards.
  • They are the first AE teammates to each score at least 30 points in a game since Vermont greats Taylor Coppenrath and T.J. Sorrentine accomplished the feat on Jan. 10, 2005 against Dartmouth.
  • Morgan Sabia scored 11 points and had a career-best 11 rebounds for the Hawks.
  • Hartford's bench outscored Boston U.'s 45-3 led by 18 points from Joel Barkers and 12 from Ryan Baker.
