CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) announced its academic team and student-athlete awards on Friday, including four America East squads and 13 of the conference's student-athletes.

University at Albany, which led the conference with six individual honorees, was named an all-academic team, along with Binghamton University, University of New Hampshire and University of Vermont. Albany, New Hampshire and Vermont were America East Championship participants.

Individuals honored by the organization were Ashley Ross, Rory Redmond, Katie Neer, Renee Levitin, Julie Bush and Tricia Primomo from Albany, Traci Landy from Boston University, Sarah Von Bargen and Michaela Hardy from New Hampshire, and Kristen Millar, Rebecca Banyard, Annie Strout and Jessa Merrill from Vermont. Nominees considered had a GPA of at least 3.5 or were in the top 10 percent of their squad. Teams that have a collective GPA of 3.0 or greater earned the distinction of Academic Squad.
