The America East Conference is committed to developing champions in athletics, academics and leadership and believes that the student-athletes represent the best and brightest of
each of the conference's nine member universities. Athletics achievements can be found on the field, court, track, pool, but accomplishments outside of the sporting events often go overlooked. In order to
recognize the contributions these student-athletes make to their
classrooms, their campuses and their communities, America East will continue to
highlight a different student-athlete each month over the course of the
2009-10 school year in a "Best of U." feature. Stories can be found on this page throughout the entire year, while features from past seasons will be also be archived here.
