Five finalists for the 2009 America East Women's Basketball Fans' Choice Player of the Year have been announced. They are: Binghamton's Laura Franceski, Boston University's Kristi Dini and Christine Kinneary, and Vermont's May Kotsopoulos and Courtnay Pilypaitis. These finalists were the top five vote-getters by the fans in preliminary voting.
