Friday, December 4
Hartford 72, at St. Joseph's (Pa.) 66 - OT   

  • For the second straight game, both on the road, Hartford has had to come back from behind at the half to pull out a victory.
  • Diana Delva notched a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds, along with five blocks, while rookie Daphne Elliott posted a career-high 21 points.


Thursday, December 3
at Seton Hall 54, New Hampshire 45   

  • Junior Jill McDonald tied her career high of 17 points while also tallying two blocks and one steal.
  • Sophomore Denise Beliveau also finished in double-digit points with 10. She recorded six rebounds, one block and five steals.


at #1 Connecticut 84, Vermont 42 (CPTV)   

  • The Catamounts dropped its first game of the season to unbeaten Connecticut, who shot 59% from the field for the game.
  • Senior guard Courtnay Pilypaitis was the only Catamount in double-figure points with 20 on 7-for 15 shooting. She also chipped in six boards, two assists and one steal.

Upcoming Action
Saturday, December 5
Maine at West Virginia    12 p.m.

  • This is the first regular season meeting with the Mountaineers. The only meeting was a first round 2005 WNIT contest which West Virginia won.
  • Sophomore Samantha Wheeler ranks in the league's top 15 in both scoring (12.6 ppg) and rebounding (5.6 rpg).

Manhattan at Vermont    1 p.m.

  • This is just Vermont's second home game of the season, beating Dartmouth in the home opener on Nov. 25.
  • With a 20-point performance at UConn, Courtnay Pilypaitis continues to lead the league with 20.8 ppg.

Delaware at UMBC    2 p.m.

  • The Retrievers are looking to extend their win streak to four games, which would be the longest since last season's five-game streak in December.
  • Senior Carlee Cassidy, the program's all-time career leader in 3-pointers with 193 is just two shy of overtaking 8th-place in the league all-time.

Niagara at Binghamton    2 p.m.

  • The Bearcats are facing their third straight MAAC opponent, splitting the first two contests on the road.
  • Guard Jackie Ward has led Binghamton in scoring in each of the last two games, notching 13 against Canisius and a career-high 26 vs. Siena.

New Hampshire at Saint Peter's    2 p.m.

  • Senior Amy Simpson has led the Wildcats with assists in each game this season, including seven last time out at Seton Hall.
  • UNH still seeks its first road win of the season, going 3-0 at home and 0-3 away from Durham.

Albany at Siena    5 p.m.

  • The Great Danes' defensive play has been a strong point this season, ranking second in the league with 57.2 points per game allowed and leading America East with 11.5 steals per game.
  • Rookie Julie Forster is 4th in the league with a field goal percentage of .512.
