Albany at North Carolina, 7 p.m. (ESPNU)
- The Great Danes will face the defending national champion for the
second straight season on ESPNU when they travel to North Carolina on
Dec. 30.
- Loyola Chicago shot 50 percent for the game, including 65 percent (13-for-20) in the second half en route to the win in Albany's last contest.
- Fran Urli scored all of his career-best 12 points in the second half on 3-of-4 shooting from the field.
- Tim Ambrose had six steals against Iona earlier this season, the most by an America East player since D.J. Rivera had as many for Binghamton on Feb. 22, 2009.
Colgate at New Hampshire, 7 p.m.
- The Wildcats
host Colgate Wednesday at Lundholm Gym, where they are a perfect 4-0
this season, the program's best start at home since 1968.
- Tyrone Conley is averaging 16.3 points over his last four games after providing just 6.6 points in his first five contests.
- Point guard Russell Graham leads the league with a 2.13 assist-to-turnover ratio and ranks fifth with 3.6 dimes per game.
Maine at Columbia, 7 p.m.
- The The Black Bears played the 11th-ranked Huskies even in the first half (26-26) but were outscored by 16 in the second half.
- Gerald McLemore, who had 10 points, is the league's third-leading scorer with 16.0 points per game.
- The Black Bears currently lead America East with a 1.07 assist-to-turnover ratio after ranking last in that category last season (0.62).
Vermont at Mount St. Mary's, 7 p.m.
- The Catamounts outrebounded the Red Foxes, 48-24, and rallied in the second half for their sixth win in their last seven games.
- Marqus Blakely recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds and added four steals.
- Blakely ranks among league leaders in nearly every category. He leads the conference in steals (3.0 spg), blocks (2.2 bpg) and field goal percentage (.572), ranks second in scoring (18.2 ppg) and rebounding (8.9 rpg) and fourth in assists (3.6 apg).
UMBC at Central Connecticut, 7:30 p.m.
- Robbie Jackson had a team-bests of 11 points, five rebounds and three blocks against Virginia Tech. He ranks 7th among AE leaders with 6.7 boards per game.
- Chris De La Rosa leads America East and ranks among national leaders with 5.6 assists per game.
- UMBC downed Central Conn. St. 68-57 in last year's meeting. Matt Spadafora contributed all around with nine points, four rebounds and five assists.
Binghamton vs. Stephen F. Austin, 8 p.m. (St. Mary's Classic)
- The
Bearcats face their second straight NCAA opponent from last season at the St. Mary's Classic
- Greer Wright ranks among league leaders in scoring (13.4 ppg) and rebounding (5.1 ppg).

- The third-ranked Wildcats shot 60 percent for the game in improving to 14-0.
- Joe Zeglinski had a team-high 19 points and sank four 3-pointers, raising his career total to 249 and ranks in the league's top 10 all-time.
- Milton Burton scored 18 points, while Morgan Sabia added 16 points and six boards.
at St. Mary's 85, Binghamton 57 (St. Mary's Classic)
- The Gaels sank 13 three-pointers en route to downing the Bearcats.
- Greer Wright scored a team-best 15 points and had four rebounds.
- The Bearcats, who have allowed just 54.3 points per game in their four wins, are one of the league's best defensive teams overall, ranking third with 65.8 points allowed per game.
