Thursday, December 3
New Hampshire at Seton Hall    7 p.m.

  • The Wildcats continue their strong defense this season, ranking fourth in the country in field-goal percentage defense and holding opponents to 30.1%.
  • 2008 Rookie of the Year Denise Beliveau has been stellar in her return after injury, ranking fifth in the league in rebounding (7.6 rpg) and seventh in scoring (14.2 ppg).


Vermont at #1 Connecticut (CPTV)    7:30 p.m.

  • In this first-round NCAA rematch, Vermont and UConn have opened the season a combined 10-0, winning by margins of 15.5 and 46.8 ppg, respectively.
  • Senior guards Courtnay Pilypaitis (21 ppg) and May Kotsopoulos (20.3 ppg)are the only teammates in Division I to both average 20+ points per game.


Friday, December 4
Hartford at St. Joseph's (Pa.)    7 p.m.

  • Hartford continues its three-game road trip in Philadelphia. After going winless in non-conference road games last season, Hartford already has two such victories this season.
  • Guard Jackie Smith is tied for second in the conference with a 1.4 assist/turnover ratio.

Boston U. 87, at Brown 58

  • Sophomore guard Alex Young netted a game-high 33 points, including a career-high 23 in just the first half alone. Three other Terriers joined her in double-figure points.
  • Boston U. shot season highs of 47.5% from the field, 37.5% from three-point range, and 84.6% from the foul line.


at Canisius 52, Albany 41

  • A 14-point intermission deficit was too much for the Great Danes to overcome despite outscoring the Golden Griffs in the second stanza, 28-25.
  • Sophomore Felicia Johnson and freshman Julie Forster each netted 10 points, while collecting four and six rebounds, respectively.


at Monmouth 61, Stony Brook 45

  • The Seawolves started off hot in the game, shooting 50% (12-for-24) from the field in the first half and finishing the game at 40.5%.
  • Juniors Misha Horsey and Kirsten Jeter each scored a team-high 10 points and combined for five steals.


at UMBC 59, Navy 51

  • The Retrievers shot 47.8% from the field and knocked down all five of their three-pointers in the second half to come back from a two-point halftime deficit.
  • Senior Carlee Cassidy and junior Chelsea Barker each tallied 15 points, while Topé Obajolu recorded 12 points and 14 boards for the double-double.


Binghamton 76, at Siena 70 - OT (Time Warner)

  • Three Bearcats tallied 10+ points, including Jackie Ward with a career-high 26 points and Andrea Holmes with 21 points.
  • Theodora Pantelli recovered a team-high 12 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass, as Binghamton went on to outrebound the Saints, 48-44.
