Tuesday, December 22
New Hampshire at Army, 2 p.m.
- Alvin Abreu and Tyrone Conley combined for 42 of the Wildcats' 69 points to help UNH improve to 4-0 at home for the first time since 1968 on Sunday.
- The Wildcats shot a season-best 53.3 percent from the field, their best output since hitting 56.9 percent Feb. 15, 2009 at Albany.
- Abreu, who had 21 points in the win over the Big Green, is tied for ninth among league leaders with 13.8 points per game.
Maine at UConn, 7 p.m. (SNY/WCTX)
- The Black Bears, who have won two straight, had their contest with Princeton postponed Sunday.
- Gerald McLemore, the league's third-leading scorer with 16.7 point per game, is averaging 22 points and six three's over his last three games.
- The Black Bears currently lead America East with a 1.10 assist-to-turnover ratio after ranking last in that category last season (0.62).
- Maine head coach Ted Woodward began his career as an assistant under Jim Calhoun from 1986-89.
Mount St. Mary's at Boston University, 7 p.m.
- The Terriers face The Mount in their first action in 10 days
- Boston U tied a school record with 15 three-pointers and shot 56 percent from the field in the win over the Red Foxes on Dec. 12.
- Corey Lowe had a season-best 27 points and canned five 3-pointers in the win.
- John Holland had 20 points to extend his double-digit scoring streak to 28 games, the sixth longest streak in the nation.
- The duo is America East's top scoring tandem, combining for 34.0 points per game. Holland leads the league with (19.1 ppg), while Lowe is seventh (14.9).
UMBC at Virginia Tech - 7 p.m.
- Chris De La Rosa hit a 15-foot jumper with 1.9 seconds remaining at American Sunday to snap a 57-57 tie and deliver UMBC its first win of the season .
- The sophomore point guard had 11 points, five assists, four rebounds and zero turnovers againt teh Eagles. He leads America East and ranks ninth nationally with 6.2 assists per contest.
- For the third straight year, UMBC ranks among the best ball handling teams in America East. The Retrievers lead the league in turnovers (12.2 pg) and rank second in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.00)
Albany at Loyola-Chicago, 8 p.m.
- Albany is 1-5 on its current eight-game road trip.
- Will Harris scored 16 of his 20 in the first half and climbed to third in the league in scoring with 16.0 ppg.
- Tim Ambrose, who's fourth in the league with 15.8 points per game had six steals against Iona, the most by an America East player since D.J. Rivera had as many for Binghamton on Feb. 22, 2009.
- The Great Danes will face the defending national champion for the second straight season on ESPNU when they travel to North Carolina on Dec. 30

- The Pioneers rallied from 16 points down with 12 minutes remaining to down Stony Brook.
- Muhammad El-Amin scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half and ranks eighth among league leaders with 14.5 points per game.
- Dallis Joyner recorded his second double-double of the season (15 points, 11 rebounds) and ranks seventh overall with 6.4 boards per contest.
- The Seawolves are one of the top defense teams in America East, leading in scoring defense (61.8 ppg) and field goal percentage defense (.397).
