- The Great Danes held a four point lead with under a minute left in regulation, but the Blue Devils forced overtime and took their home opener.
- Despite its 4-7 record, Albany is joined by Vermont as one of two teams to rank among the league's top-three in both field goal percentage (.432) and field goal percentage defense (.415), ranking second in both categories
- Tim Ambrose (15.8 ppg) and Will Harris (15.6) are the only teammates averaging over 15 points per game.

- The Black Bears held Kennesaw St. to 29.7 percent shooting for the contest to earn their second straight win.
- Gerald McLemore scored 20 points and canned six 3-pointers in the win. He is averaging 22 points and six three's over his last three games.
- Troy Barnies recorded his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds against Kennesaw. He ranks sixth with 6.1 boards a game.
at Vermont 80, Quinnipiac 78
- Marqus Blakely scored a career-high 32 points to lead UVM to a win over Quinnipiac in its home opener.
- The win was Vermont's fifth straight overall and 13th consecutive over a Northeast Conference opponent
- Maurice Joseph had 14 points and ranks eighth among league leaders with 14.8 points per game.
- Vermont has one of the league's top offenses, posting league-bests with 70.0 points per game and a .433 team field goal percentage.
South Dakota 89, Binghamton 77 (Drake Invitational)
- South Dakota shot 62 percent in the second half and racked up 56 points in the frame en route to the win at the Drake Invitational.
- Greer Wright scored 20 points and ranks 14th among league leaders with 11.6 points per game.
- Dylan Talley added 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds against the Coyotes. He averaged 14.7 points last week and 4.7 boards en route to earning Rookie of the Week honors.
