BOSTON - Senior Farrell McClernon scored a goal and added an assist to give Boston University a 4-0 victory over Binghamton University and the program's third straight America East women's soccer title on Saturday afternoon at Nickerson Field. Sophomore Jessica Luscinski, senior Taleen Dimirdjian and freshman Megan McGoldrick added the other tallies for the Terriers, who earned their fifth straight NCAA appearance and will learn their draw on Monday at 8 p.m. on ESPNews.

McClernon, a first-team All-America East forward, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Teammates Brittany Heist, Shauna Kelleher and Emily Pallotta joined McClernon on the All-Championship squad.

Luscinski, also a first-team all-conference forward, scored 10:34 into the contest off a free kick from 30 yards. The strike, Luscinski's sixth of the season, beat Binghamton keeper Jen McEachron to her right and gave the Terriers a 1-0 advantage.

The Bearcats' best scoring opportunity came with 17 minutes to go in the first stanza. Freshman Jamie Holliday, an America East all-rookie selection, took a cross in the box from about 10 yards out, spun and struck the outside of the right post.

After taking a 1-0 lead into the half, Dimirdjian provided an insurance tally 5:50 into the second period. The senior collected the ball in the center of the box and fired on Bearcats goaltender Erin Iman, who made the save, but the ball bounced right back to Dimirdjian, who one-timed the rebound into the right side and gave her team a 2-0 lead.

McGoldrick padded the advantage 26:38 later of a pass from McClernon, who then added her seventh tally of the season exactly five minutes later on a header off a corner kick from Heist.

The rest of the All-Championship squad consisted of Binghamton's Mary DeWitte, Erica Goldberg and Emily Pape, University of Maine's Anjelica Hodgson and Laura Martel, Stony Brook University's Alex Teti and Marisa Viola, University at Albany's Casey Marks and University of New Hampshire's Ally Yost.
