Saturday, November 28
Buffalo at Maine    12 p.m.

  • These foes compete in the consolation game of the Dead River Company Classic at Alfond Arena. Penn State and Holy Cross will compete for the title in the later game.
  • After combining for 11 points and four boards in 31 minutes through her first two games, freshman Corinne Wellington came out of the shell last time out to record career highs in points (20), rebounds (10) and minutes (29).


Binghamton at Canisius    1 p.m.

  • The 2009 Rookie of the Year Andrea Holmes leads Binghamton in points, steals, assists and minutes played.
  • Sophomore transfer Emma Cronk is fourth in the league with five blocks in three game (1.7 bpg).


Temple at Hartford (CTSN)    2 p.m.

  • As usual, the Hawks are a strong defensive team, averaging 12 steals per game and 5.5 blocks per game and have held opponents to just 52.5 points.
  • Seniors Erica Beverly and Diana Delva are 1-2 in the league rankings for both rebounds and blocked shots.

Holy Cross 61, at Maine 59

  • In her first collegiate start, rookie Corinne Wellington tallied a double double with team-highs of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
  • The Black Bears outrebounded their opponent for the third straight game, winning that battle against the Crusaders, 41-31.


at Stony Brook 72, Air Force 60

  • Junior Kirsten Jeter paced the offense with 20 points and five assists, while also chipping in five rebounds, two blocks and one steal.
  •  The Seawolves put up a season high in points, while clamping down on offense, forcing the visitors into 31 turnovers and swiping 13 steals.


Wednesday, November 25
at Hofstra 62, Albany 49

  • Freshman Ebone Henry came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points, including 3-of-6 shooting from behind the three-point line.
  • Senior Charity Iromuanya also reached double-figures with 11 points and contributed two steals and one block on the defensive end.


at Vermont 83, Dartmouth 59

  • The Catamounts shot 55.9 percent from the field in the second stanza to finish with 46.5 percent for the game.
  • Rookie Kendra Seto tallied a team-high 15 points, while senior Courtnay Pilypaitis came one assist away from a double double (12 pts, 9 asts, 5 reb, 5 stls).
