The Black Bears are playing their first home contest after starting 2-2 in four road games... Maine went 5-8 at Alfond Arena last season... Justin Rutty scored 30 points to lead the Bobcats to a 73-66 victory in last year's meeting... Gerald McLemore had a team-high 19 for Maine.
Vermont at Providence, 7 p.m.
The Catamounts are seeking their second straight win over a Big East opponent... UVM down Rutgers 77-71 on Sunday behind a career-high 19 points from Evan Fjeld... Marqus Blakely added 17 points, nine rebounds, five blocks and four steals... He currently ranks second, third, first and first among AE leaders in those respective categories.
Binghamton at Western Carolina, 7:30 p.m. (CBE Classic)
The Bearcats face the host Catamounts on the second day of the O'Reilly Autoparts CBE Classic in Cullowee, N.C... Moussa Camara scored 16 points in Binghamton's 70-52 loss to Duquesne Monday... He currently ranks in the conference's top 20, averaging 11.8 points per game.
Coppin State at UMBC, 7:30 p.m. (MASN)
Baltimore rivals, the Eagles and Retrievers meet for the first time in 10 seasons in a game that will be televised on MASN... Siena transfer Chris De La Rosa is second among league leaders with 18 assists through three games.
Stony Brook at Rhode Island, 7:30 p.m.
With a win, the Seawolves would improve to 4-0 for the first time since 1990... SBU, which led America East by allowing a league-best 60.9 points per game last season, is holding opponents to just 52.7 ppg and a 35 percent shooting clip through three games.
Hartford at Lafayette, 8:30 p.m.
The Hawks seek their first three-game win streak since the end of the 2007-08 season... Andres Torres is averaging 8.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game through four games after contributing 5.3 points, 2.1 boards and 2.9 assists last season... Joel Barkers (17.0 ppg) and Joe Zeglinski (16.8 ppg) are the league third-leading scoring duo behind Vermont's Marqus Blakely and Maurice Joseph and Boston University's John Holland and Corey Lowe.
