Maryland-Eastern Shore at UMBC 1 p.m.
- The Retrievers play their second consecutive home game to open the season. Last year's victory over UMES, 92-70, was one of two 90+ point performances of the season by UMBC.
Boston U. at Massachusetts 2 p.m.
- Back in the Northeast after playing the country's first Divison I women's basketball game Friday morning, the Terriers will try to pick up their first win of the season. The last time Boston started a season 0-1 was in 2005-06 when it finished with a 18-12 record.
St. John's at Stony Brook 2 p.m.
- In last year's meeting between the two New York teams, junior guard Misha Horsey led the team with 11 points, while junior forward Kirsten Jeter recorded a team-high eight rebounds. Horsey also led with four assists.

- Senior forward Erica Beverly tallied 16 points, 16 boards and three blocks.
- The Hawks rebounded from 21.9% field-goal shooting in the first half to finish with 37.9% for the game.
Vermont 52, at NC State 47
- Senior guard May Kotsopoulos notched 21 points to average 23.5 ppg at the Sheraton Raleigh Wolfpack Invite and earn MVP honors.
- Senior Sofia Iwobi collected a game-high 10 rebounds.
