*Binghamton 70, at Maine 62
The Bearcats, winners of 3 straight and 6 of 8 coming in, showed off their explosive offense with four players in double-figures and 51 percent shooting from the floor... The win was the Bearcats first in their last 6 league openers and their 8-4 start is the program's best in 15 years... D.J. Rivera, the leading scorer in America East (21.2 ppg), continued to make an impact with a game-high 24 points and had 6 rebounds... Dwayne Jackson added 12 off of the bench, while Reggie Fuller and Emanuel Mayben each had 10. Fuller also contributed 7 rebounds and Mayben dished out 6 assists... For Maine, which has dropped 5 straight, Gerald McLemore, the top rookie scorer in the league, had 16 points... Junior Bernal had 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Sean McNally added 11 points and 7 boards.

*at Hartford 64, Albany 54
The Hawks, which went into to its league opener against Albany 4-9, grabbed a 27-25 halftime lead and never surrendered it en route to the win... Morgan Sabia scored 14 of his team-high 16 points in the second half for Hawks, who were without leading scorer Joe Zeglinski for the fourth straight game... Jaret von Rosenberg added 13 and Michael Turner had 11... For Albany, which stood at 8-5 coming in, matching the program's best start at Division I, Will Harris had a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds... Brian Connelly was the only other Great Dane in twin figures with 14 points to go with 7 rebounds.

*Stony Brook 69, at UMBC 61
Stony Brook continued to show its for real with a win in its league opener at the defending champions... The Seawolves have won 3 straight and 7 of 9 to improve to 8-5 heading into Monday's battle with the equally hot Bearcats on MSG+... Bryan Dougher and Muhammad El-Amin each had 19 to lead the Seawolves... Darryl Proctor had a monster game of 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Retrievers, who fell to 5-7 on the season.

at Vermont 73, New Jersey Tech 47
Vermont extended NJIT's losing streak to 47 games with a win at Patrick Gym... The Catamounts have won 8 of their last 10 games... Marqus Blakely 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead Vermont... Mike Trimboli added 10 for the Catamounts, who open conference play Thursday at home against Boston University.

Holy Cross 69, at Boston University 48
The Terriers fell behind Holy Cross 17-5 to start the game and never recovered... Boston U. has now dropped four straight overall and six straight at Agganis Arena... Freshman Jake O'Brien was the lone Terrier in double-figures with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting.

Stony Brook 67, at Air  Force 64
The Seawolves outrebounded the Falcons 35-23 and held them to just 3 offensive boards en route to their sixth win in their last eight games... Bryan Dougher scored 22 points and Muhammad El-Amin poured in 20... Demetrius Young added a spark off the bench with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes.

Tuesday, December 30
at Binghamton 73, Marist 71
The Bearcats won their third straight and sixth in its last eight outings to improve to 7-4, the program's best start in 15 years... Reggie Fuller tied a school record with 15 rebounds to go with 13 points... D.J. Rivera, America East's leading scorer (21.1 ppg) had a game-high 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds.

Vermont 84, Colorado 59
(Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic Third-Place Game - Honolulu, Hawaii)
The Catamounts went on a 22-6 run down the stretch to claim third place at the Rainbow Classic... Mike Trimboli had a game-high 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting overall and a perfect 4-of-4 from 3-point land... The win over Big XII opponent in America East's second in 8 days.

Canisius 56, at Maine 43
The Golden Griffins held The Black Bears to just 28.3 percent shooting for the game and only 5 second-half field goals in 23 attempts... Mark Socoby had 14 points and 7 rebounds for Maine.

at Kansas 79, Albany 43
The defending champion Jayhawks held the Great Danes to 30 percent shooting and without a 3-pointer in 15 attempts... Anthony Raffa scored in double figures for the seventh time in eight games with a team-high 11 points.

at Saint Louis 81, UMBC 60
The Billikens used a 16-4 run first-half on way to the win... Darryl Proctor scored 29 points, his most ever in a UMBC uniform, and grabbed seven rebounds... America East Rookie of the Week Chauncey Gilliam added 10 points and five rebounds.

at Stanford 69, Hartford 55
The Hawks trailed by as many as 16 in the second half, but cut the deficit to seven with 5:30 to play before the Cardinal proceeded to score the game's next 5 points to improve to 10-0... Michael Turner led Hartford with 14 points... Jaret von Rosenberg had 13, while Morgan Sabia and Genesis Maciel combined for 22 points and 11 boards.
