Q. Why I Chose UMBC:
A- Because UMBC is close to home and it is well known for it’s academics.
Q. Favorite class and why:
A- Precalculus because math comes easy to me.
Q. One thing I have learned at UMBC that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- How to manage my time between academics and athletics.
Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- A sports trainer for a professional football/basketball team.
Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A- My sister, Kathleen, because she also plays college basketball and understands what I go through and supports me no matter what.
Q. The best thing about being a UMBC Retriever is:
A- The everyday challenge of trying to get UMBC athletics to be well known throughout the country.
Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A- Playing at UMBC in the semi-state finals my junior year in high school.
Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A-No classwork because we haven’t started classes for the spring semester.
Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- Practice Sunday, Monday, game at Hartford Tuesday, practice Wednesday, practice Thursday (2 1/2 ladders=180 sprints), practice Friday, and game Saturday
Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- Try to stay ahead in your schoolwork, and school always comes first, athletics second.
Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A- I think with our team’s talent, we can make a great run in the AE tournament.
