Q. Why I Chose Boston University:
A- BU is a great school both academically and athletically. The city of Boston is a great college city and definitely has a lot to offer.
Q. Favorite class and why:
A- My favorite class is Spanish; I really enjoy learning a second language and have a really great professor.
Q. One thing I have learned at Boston University that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- Always give 100%. If you are going to dedicate your time and do something you should give it everything you have.
Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- My dream job would be to be a veterinarian. I love animals and would love to help and work with them on a daily basis.
Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A- My siblings. My sister is 2 years older than me and is in her second year of law school, her hard work really motivates me.
Q. The best thing about being a BU Terrier is:
A- The people that I have met while being at BU. I am very thankful for all of the friendships that I have developed at BU.
Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A- My most memorable moment as an athlete is from high school. My high school team won back-to-back state championships and my AAU travel team won the junior national championship. I will never forget it.
Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A- Classes have not resumed since Christmas break. But on a typical school day I will have 3 hours of class and 3 hours of practice time. Classes and basketball are very time consuming, but if you manage your time well it is very doable.
Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- I had 2 games this week, and we won them both! If we did not have a game we have practice for 3 hours and a half hour lift after practice.
Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- If you do not stay on top of your schoolwork it can become very overwhelming. It is very important to manage your time and take care of your schoolwork first.
Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A- I have lost in the championship to the same team for the past 2 years. It is my senior year and I refuse to graduate without winning the championship. I am very excited that our season is finally here and that we are off to a 2-0 start.
