Two of the more storied porgrams in America East meet when Boston University plays host to Vermont at Agganis Arena on Wednesday night at 7:30 in a game televised on NESN. The contest will also air on ESPN Full Court, the college basketball subscription service of that network, and at AmericaEast.com (WATCH). The game is a production of America East and ESPN Regional Television, one of at least 20 games produced as part of the conference-wide package in 2009.

Eric Frede (play-by-play) and Frank Sullivan (color) call all the action. Together the Terriers and Catamounts have combined for eight America East Championships. Vermont (9-6 overall) has impressive wins over George Washington and Colorado this season, but will be looking for its first conference win after starting 0-2. Boston University is coming off a 68-37 win over New Hampshire on Sunday to improve to 6-8 overall, 1-1 in America East.

Vermont junior Marqus Blakely, who last season became the first player in America East history to win both the Kevin Roberson Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season, is averaging 15.3 points per game, 8.6 rebounds per game and a conference-best 3.1 blocks per game. Senior Mike Trimboli, the active America East scoring leader with 1,733 points, averages 15.8 points per game and 4.7 assists per game.

Junior Corey Lowe, who earlier this season scored his 1,000th career point, leads the Terriers with 17.0 points per game. Sophomore John Holland, the 2008 America East Rookie of the Year, adds 15.8 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game.
