Saturday was the day to set a career high in scoring as that happened
in each of the four America East conference games on Saturday. Boston University senior Jesyka Burks-Wiley posted a career-high 24 points to help the Terriers knock off preseason favorite Vermont at Case Gym, 58-47. In the other 1:00 game up in Orono, Hartford went into Alfond Arena and blew out Maine, 77-46, behind a career-high 20 points from guard Lisa Etienne. Albany sophomore Janea Aiken
poured in a career-best 33 points, however the Great Danes fell to
Binghamton on the road behind another career performance by rookie Viive Rebane, and three players set new personal bests in scoring in a 95-85 UMBC victory over New Hampshire in Baltimore.
