CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Two America East softball players landed on the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I All-Star Teams as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Albany senior outfielder Amber Maisonet was selected for the first team, while Boston University freshman outfielder Ashley Setterlund made the second team.

Maisonet is a four-time America East All-Conference First Team selection and finished second in the league with a .379 batting average. She led the conference in stolen bases with 27. Maisonet graduates from Albany as the school's all-time leader in hits (233) and runs (151). She led the Great Danes to the America East Championship title game earlier this year and earned All-Tournament honors.

Setterlund was the 2008 America East Rookie of the Year and was also a first-team honoree. She is one of only two rookies named to the first or second ECAC All-Star teams. Setterlund finished fourth in America East in four different offensive categories and was just one shy of tying the single season Terriers record of 12 doubles.
