Six Tabbed All-Americans in Men's Lacrosse

BOSTON - Six America East men's lacrosse standouts have been named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-Americans for the 2008 season, as announced by the organization over the weekend. UMBC's Terry Kimener garnered second-team honors, while teammates Bobby Atwell, Jeremy Blevins and Ryan Smith received honorable mention accolades along with Albany's Jordan Levine and Stony Brook's Jordan McBride.

Kimener, the America East Player of the Year, finished the year tied for second in the league with 48 points. He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the America East Championship, which his team won with a thrilling 14-13 comeback win over Albany. Atwell, Blevins, Levine, McBride and Smith were all first-team all-conference choices. McBride was also tabbed the league's Rookie of the Year.
