Twelve America East student-athletes in the sport of women's lacrosse have been named to their respective Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) All-Region squad. The honorees were highlighted by six selections from Boston University and four from New Hampshire.
The Terriers' Sarah Dalton, Kelly Monroe and Lauren Morton were chosen to the Northeast Region First Team along with New Hampshire's Michaela Hardy and Vermont's Kristen Millar. UMBC's Ali Levendusky was a first-team selection in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The Northeast Region second-team honorees from America East included Molly Collins, Rachel Klein and Tracy Landi from Boston U. and Allie Duclos, Ashley Milley and Sarah Von Bargen from New Hampshire.
The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division I with inclusion on one of eight All-Regional teams, with each of the four regions, the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic,South, and West/Midwest naming a first and a second team. All 128 athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-
American teams, which will be announced on May 29. The IWLCA and US Lacrosse will honor the National All-Americans at an awards banquet on June 14, 2008 in Downingtown, Pa.
