BOSTON-- By virtue of its win over New Hampshire on Saturday, Boston University has clinched at least a share of the America East women's lacrosse regular-season title and the right to host the upcoming league championship, which will be played April 25-27 at Boston U's Nickerson Field.

The Terriers (12-2, 5-0 America East) downed the Wildcats (10-4, 3-2 America East) 7-6 on Saturday to lock up the top seed for the championship. Sophomore McKinley Curro led the way with two goals and an assist for the Terriers, who are ranked 11th in the latest IWLCA Coaches' Poll and 10th in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.

In other league action on Saturday, Stony Brook (6-6, 1-4 America East) picked up its first conference win of the season with an 18-12 victory over Binghamton (4-10, 0-5 America East).

With just over one week remaining in the regular season, the final three conference tournament bids remain up for grabs. Vermont (7-6, 4-1 America East) can earn the No. 2 seed with a win over Binghamton on April 20. New Hampshire, which is ranked nationally, would position itself for the No. 3 seed with a win over Albany (8-6, 2-2 America East) on April 16. The Great Danes also have Stony Brook left on its schedule, while UMBC (4-11, 2-3 America East) will face Boston U. in its seaon finale on April 20.

The America East championship semifinals will take place on Friday, April 25 with the championship game set for Sunday, April 27. Game times and ticket information will be announced this week. Sunday's final will also be streamed live in the America East Zone at America East.com and will be produced by Pack Network.
